For a quick way to ground oneself or as a daily practice - Take 7.
1. Take 7 slow belly breaths
There are many breathing patterns for everything from energy to anxiety to "Calm Confidence" for public speaking.
The basic slow diaphragmatic belly breath is a great standard.
Take 7 slow belly breaths in through the nose/ out through the nose.

2. Notice 7 Colors
Inside or out...slowly look left to right -(or right to left):)- and notice 7 colors...even the slightest gradient of color.🖍️
3. 7 sounds
It's a noisy world...sounds layered on sounds...
Inside or out, close your eyes, separate 7 sounds ...if you find somewhere quiet..can you hear your heartbeat?! Pretty awesome.
4. Sense 7 sensations
Starting at the top of your head moving towards your feet..notice 7 sensations.
Tingling, Pressure, Temperature, Tension, a Tickle - when paying close attention it can be pretty amazing to feel all that's going on with your body.
5. 7 second smile
Think of something or someone who truly makes you feel happy or makes you laugh. Smile for 7 seconds...maybe share that smile with a stranger:). Smile for 7 seconds...maybe share that smile with a stranger:).
6. 7 Thanks
Out loud or silently...say Thank You to 7 people, places, animals, experiences - anything or anyone you are Grateful for/to...
