Ten House Maintenance Things To Do
Football officiating is done (probably) after our playoff game Saturday. So, I can get back to things I've held off on because of lack of time.
1. Side door closer - needs replaced
2. Fix Slider Screen
Dog plowed into it a few times this summer. Needs bent back into shape.
3. Replace bathroom sink faucet
Bought replacement, just need to do it.
4. Leafs
Picking up the crap load of oak leafs we get every year.
5. Basement Decluttering
Getting rid of / selling / giving away / tossing things down there.
6. Hardwood Floors
Need a lot of work... probably have to hire a pro.
7. Ceiling Fan Replacement
Dining room fan on/off switch broke, so when we turn on the light, we get the fan also. Even if we don't want it.
8. Ice Maker Water Line
We had a slow leak under a clamp. Turned off the water to stop the leak, but can't use the ice maker until we fix it.
9. Winterizing
Hoses drained and in the shed, cap on the outside faucet, get the shovels and deicer out of the shed and onto the back deck. More that I'm not thinking of right now.
10. Furnace Cleaning
Scheduled, but not until New Year's Eve... they're way behind.
