Ten Types Of Pain Relievers
The Missus fell last Memorial Day weekend, breaking her wrist and back (compression of L4). Combined with her chronic issues, this list is more like a bingo game list for her.
Other than #5, she's needed to use all of these. Me? Don't get much past #1, but I have a wide variety of topical pain remedies. Maybe that's a list for another day...
1. Acetaminophen (Tylenol)
2. Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin)
3. Aspirin
4. Naproxen (Aleve)
5. Diclofenac
6. Codeine
7. Tramadol
8. Morphine
9. Oxycodone
10. Gabapentin
AI offers this "legal" warning - "It's important to note that some of these medications, particularly the last few on the list, are prescription drugs and should only be used under medical supervision. Over-the-counter options like acetaminophen, ibuprofen, aspirin, and naproxen are more commonly used for everyday pain relief. Always consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new medication regimen."
