Ten Underrated Candies
Asked AI for this list. Never had #3, 6, & 9. But the others are memories of my childhood.
Have had #1 within the last few years. Ordered a case of #10 for my officiating crew mate who mentioned he couldn't find them.
1. Necco Wafers
Chalky, old-school, weirdly addictive. A candy time capsule.
2. Bit-O-Honey
Honeyed taffy with almond bits that lasts forever (in a good way).
3. Chick-O-Stick
Coconut + peanut butter + crunch. Criminally overlooked.
4. Zagnut
Peanut butter core, toasted coconut outside. No chocolate, no regrets.
5. Charleston Chew
Nougat that wants to be frozen. Best eaten cold.
6. Mary Jane
Molasses-peanut butter chew. Retro and polarizing, but loyal fans know.
7. Abba-Zaba
Taffy with a peanut-butter center. The wrapper alone earns points.
8. Clark Bar
Like a Butterfinger that grew up and calmed down.
9. Sixlets
Candy-shell chocolate pellets that somehow taste better than they should.
10. Boston Baked Beans
Candy-coated peanuts pretending to be legumes. Zero shame.
