1. Sitting with lies, standing in truth.
You sit
Resting in complacency, waiting for something outside yourself to move you. But stillness isn’t always peace. Sometimes, it’s avoidance.
You stand
Taking a stance, but is it firm or shaky? You stand, thinking you're grounded, yet what are you standing on? Ego’s quicksand or Truth’s solid foundation?
You lie horizontally
Reaching for comfort in the illusion of rest. But lying down in the illusion doesn’t free you from the weight of it.
You lie to yourself about the Self
This is the lie that keeps the dance going — convincing yourself that what’s false is real, pretending the mask is who you are. But that’s okay…
But that's okay too
Because the dance itself is part of the awakening. The illusion, the lies —they’re all tools to snap you out of the dream. Even in the lie, the truth is standing right behind, waiting for you to notice.
Sitting, standing, lying creates a cycle of motion in the illusion, but all are forms of stillness, tethered to the lie. This is the dance you do with the ego — until you're ready to stop pretending and just be.
