The Hurt Illusion. (60 sec)

    1. You're the One Holding the Mirror.

    We feel hurt, claiming the role of victim — “Look at what he, she, they, or even I did to me!” We spend our entire lives trying to avoid hurt, but we never stop to question who’s getting hurt in the first place. Can you show me hurt? Can you bottle up 12 oz. of hurt and mail, text, or email it to me? Of course not. It sounds absurd because it is absurd.
    The truth is, you’ve simply chosen the wrong decision-maker. But here’s the good news — you can always choose again. There’s nothing in this world that can hurt the real You. The only reason you can’t hear this yet is because you’re still standing in His way. (He’s right there behind you, metaphorically speaking.)
    "Hurt is as Hurt Thinks." A thinker who entertains hurt thoughts manufactures hurt. But that’s all it is — manufactured. Are you picking up what I’m throwing down?
    So, if hurt is a thought, then who’s the real culprit? The world? Or the thinker? Maybe it's time to choose a different thought, a different decision-maker, and realize — you were never really hurt in the first place.
