1. Chasing moments in a world that never lasts.
We spend months, years, sometimes a lifetime, prepping for those celebrated peaks — holidays, graduations, weddings, even the looming threat of being attacked. Yet when they finally arrive, they vanish as fast as they came, leaving us empty, wondering what the buildup was for. Every 'special' moment the world promises is a fleeting distraction, a mirage that vanishes the second we touch it.
Meanwhile, the present — the only real thing we have — is overlooked, dismissed as 'not enough.' We miss the gift of now, chasing an illusion we’ve been sold by the ego: a promise of fulfillment in the future that never truly comes. In the blink of an eye, it's all gone.
The present is God's gift, but only if you unwrap it. Stay there. Everything else? It's just a long lead-up to nothingness.
