The Madness of More. (1 min 22 sec)

    1. How accumulation Is the ego’s insanity.

You're living in a house of mirrors, each one reflecting not who you are, but who you think you should be. Every reflection whispers, "More." More money, more status, more stuff. You listen, chasing reflections that multiply like rabbits — only you're never satisfied. Why? Because it's never about the things. It's about what the things represent to the ego: security, power, validation.
The more you accumulate, the further you stray from the one thing you're really looking for — inner peace. Each dollar, car, or mansion is just another brick in the fortress you’re building to protect a false sense of self. And what does a fortress need? Constant defense. You start to guard your hoard like a dragon, fearing loss, fearing thieves, fearing the inevitable truth: none of it will save you.
Accumulation is a mental illness because it feeds an illusion. You're gathering objects to fill a void that can't be filled by external things. You’re reinforcing the lie that more out there will heal the emptiness in here. The ego thrives on this cycle — it's the perfect setup for suffering.
True sanity? It’s realizing that nothing outside yourself will ever make you whole. Once you see the game for what it is, you stop playing. You stop letting the ego call the shots. And that’s when the real wealth — the peace of your natural state — floods in.
The madness of more is a sickness. The cure? Let go. Recognize that what you’re really seeking can’t be found in the accumulation of anything. It’s found in the release of everything.
