The Meditation Myth. (1 min 15 sec)

    1. Letting Go of Rituals and Finding True Peace.

You’ve probably heard it before: Meditation is the answer to everything. You need to sit, breathe deeply, light some candles, and boom — spiritual bliss. But here’s the thing, meditation isn’t the answer. Not the way you think.
Instead of locking yourself into a ritualistic practice where missing a 30-minute meditation wrecks your day, it is about living every moment in a state of mindful awareness. That traffic jam? The tension in that business meeting? That is where the work begins, not when you’re sitting on a cushion.
We’re trained to keep Jesus' or the Holy Spirit’s presence in our minds throughout the day. When your anger flares, when anxiety creeps in — you can find peace right there. That’s real meditation. It’s not about tuning out the world, but tuning into the truth that peace is always available, waiting for us to choose it over the chaos of our ego.
It’s not about avoiding your life to find peace. It’s about bringing peace into your life’s messiest, most chaotic moments. You don’t need to retreat to some quiet corner to feel God’s presence — you can do it in the middle of a traffic jam or during an argument. Peace is in your mind, ready for you to shift from ego to forgiveness.
So the next time life throws you into the fire, don’t reach for a candle or cushion. Remember, peace is already there, just waiting for you to choose it.

    I am sorry.
    Please forgive me.
    Thank you.
    I love you.
