The Ship of Theseus and the Originality of AI Enhanced Ideas
The Ship of Theseus is a well-known philosophical thought experiment that raises intriguing questions about identity and change. It asks whether an object that has had all of its components replaced remains fundamentally the same object. Interestingly, a similar question can be applied to the originality of ideas that are enhanced and built upon using AI tools like ChatGPT.
The familiar complaint is that using AI to write an article, blog or other composition based on your initial idea disingenuous.
When we use ChatGPT to enhance our ideas do we lose the essence of our idea?
