1. Let Go and Follow the Conductor.
You ever wonder why, after all that time spent doing the "work," you don’t feel any better? Maybe you’ve gone through the motions, read your spiritual text, and yet—nothing. No grand healing, no enlightenment. What's the deal?
Here’s the truth: This is just the beginning. The words in your Bible, Bhagavad Gita or the Quran isn’t some magic wand that will instantly fix your life. It’s a starting point, a path, not a destination. The real transformation? It comes later, but only if you realize what the lessons are trying to teach you: You are not a body. Everything that seems to happen to you is just a projection of what’s happening in you.
Think about that. The world you see isn’t real — it’s a reflection of your thoughts, your mind’s choices. That’s where the work is. Not in changing your circumstances, but in healing your split mind — the part that chose the ego over truth. The ego thrives on judgment, telling you that other people’s sins make you sinless. But judgment is the very thing that keeps you stuck.
And it’s not easy. You don’t just snap your fingers and walk away from the ego. Even Freud knew about resistance — the unconscious refusal to let go of what’s comfortable, even if it’s destroying you. Jesus calls this a process, a slow journey where the ego will fight back, dragging you into the darkness just when you think you’re making progress.
So, here’s the bottom line: Don’t get caught up in trying to heal. That’s not your job. Your only responsibility? Practice the truth daily. Let go of needing to see the whole picture. Like a musician in a symphony, your role is to play your notes and follow the conductor’s baton. That conductor? Call it Jesus, the Holy Spirit, whatever resonates with you. But trust this: They see the bigger picture, and your healing is their responsibility, not yours.
What matters is that you stay committed. Show up every day, practice forgiveness, drop the judgment. You’ll get there, but it’s not on your timeline. It’s on the timeline of truth.
So, why are you still holding on to the idea that you need to be fixed right now? Maybe it's time to let go of that, too.
