    1. How does the coffee supply chain work?

I am an enthusiastic coffee drinker. I am overwhelmed with the quantity of coffee that is available: hundreds of pounds in every supermarket, every restaurant, coffee shop, gas station and office.

Every time I see a video about coffee production I see someone cutting the beans off a tree with a machete and drying the beans on some type of a sheet. This process seems like it would make enough coffee to last me for about 10 minutes. There must be something else or it is just at such a scale that I can’t conceive of it.

    2. How did the Germans create so much gasoline in World War II?

I had an interesting conversation with a very chatty seat mate on an airline flight. Among other things, he pointed out that gasoline is a manufactured product. You don’t need to dig it out of the ground, you can make it out of biomass, or other types of garbage. I thought this was very interesting! (spoiler alert, sort of: https://www.energy.gov/fecm/early-days-coal-research)

    3. What are the best tools to design parametric furniture for CNC machines to create?

I’m really taken with the idea of using CNC machines and I see people that have created beautiful shapes, and very comfortable looking chairs that also happen to sell for thousands of dollars.

    4. How can I make a social club that focuses around music, creation, and enjoyment instead of alcohol consumption as a primary way to make money?

I would like to create a music based club. While I’m not opposed to making money by selling alcohol, most of the venues seem to be a bar with music as a driver to sell alcohol. I would like to change the narrative.

    5. Real life use cases for cryptocurrency and or NFTs

I read quite a bit about this and I am a coder and I have done some Hello World smart contracts so I have an above average understanding of the space but I still don’t see very many real life uses yet, but I’m sure they’re out there.

    6. How to stay physically fit as we age with a variety of activity

I am ok with doing old man stuff like walking and swimming. I am looking for other activities but some of the action sports that I used to do might be a little much

    7. Using Artificial Intelligence/robots to make money

I have started this process but still have a lot to learn and have not made money yet.

    8. Improving relationships with family

    9. The effects of government policy on my life

I have become more interested in the last few years after ignoring it for the first 47 years of my life,

    10. Oil painting

I saw a tutorial on this: looks like it could be fun.
