Things I've Learned Recently

Reading up a bit on some old Leagues - the Federal League, for example. Prompted by (of all things) a Facebook ad for retro baseball tee shirts. The shirts I got included the Lebanon Pretzel Eaters, Asbury Park Sea Urchins, and the Newark Peppers. The latter two are Jersey, and I like eating pretzels explains the first one.

My nephew's new bride plays this sport. It used to be called "Murderball." Combines rugby, basketball, and hockey. And is seriously violent!

My sister in law showed me over the weekend how she lines up the sipping hole on the other side of the cardboard cup's side seam, so if she's driving or otherwise not looking, she can make sure she has the right grip to take a sip without looking at the cup.

I'd like to pause it to download the books we've paid for then end the subscription for now. But the option isn't available at this point, which their website says we must have paused already.
