Things to Avoid
Great list idea from @easymoneyme. The will be a "via negativa" list meaning things get better by removing these things.
1. Wasting time
Commuter traffic is a great example here. How much better is life without having a daily commute? Infinitely better is my answer.
2. Worrying about money
Live below your means.
3. Holding on to anger and other negative energy
Figuring this out is a form of freedom. Invest the time to figure how you can do this if you haven't already. Stoicism, which tells us to only focus on things we can control, can help here.
4. Carbohydrates and seed oils
Everything that kills us can be tied back to insulin resistance (carbs), inflammation (seed oils) or a combo of the two. The more of these you can remove, the better off you'll be.
5. Envy
When someone has some sort of success, be genuinely happy for them. Just about any other reaction is negative energy that won't make anything better.
6. Clutter
This can be literal or metaphorical, take it however you want.
7. Complexity
Keep things as simple as you possibly can. We can't always do this but people often make things far more complicated than they need to be which causes frustration and aggravation.
