Thoughts - Today's Incident

The guy who tried to run me over last year and his girlfriend came to my work today.  Wondered around for about 30minutes before stopping to talk to me.  No apology, just 'Last year someone called me, multiple times and threatened my kids.' if I know of anything I've to let him know.

    1. Why?

He plead guilty and is awaiting a sentence.  So why now?

This event supposedly happened a year ago (if it happened at all). Surely if nothing more has been said/done it's over, right?

Did it ever happen or was this an excuse to make me look like the bad guy.  Getting people to phone up and threaten kids, really?  Who does that.

Why now?  Were they just chilling at home, enjoying life when suddenly a memory appeared in there heads 'remember that time someone called up and threaten my kids?' 'What!  You never told me this.  When did that happen?' 'oh sometime last year.  They called up multiple times and threatened my kids.  Nothing came of it but still ' ' That's disgraceful.  Did you tell your lawyer to bring that up during your trial?' 'no' 'fair enough.  I think we should ask ___ if he knows anything about this.' ' The guy I tried to run over and have been avoiding for a year?' 'aye.  He's bound to know who it was.  He's a master detective ' 'You're right let's go and ask for his help '

    2. Why would I help?

No apology.  They still owe me a lot of money.

So I've ment to go around asking everyone I know if they did this and if they say they did it (they wouldn't 'cause none of them would do that.  Doubt anyone did it to be honest.), but let's say after they say 'yes that was me ' I've to run to them and let them know so this person can then be attacked?  Really?

    Why would I do that?

    3. Lawyer

Do I call my lawyer?  It looks like a threat, do this or I'm blaming you.  Why else would they involve me over something that happened a year ago?

They haven't ment to interact with me.  I'll sleep on this one.  I don't want more hassle, but doing nothing may lead to that anyway.

    4. Will it ever end?

I honestly thought that it was over.  He's plead guilty, it's over.
