Trapped in a Hall of Mirrors. (1 min 18 sec)

    1. Why talking about yourself is the most boring thing you could do.

    The Self-Obsessed Loop
Lisa spends every day either talking about herself, writing about herself, or scrolling through her social media feeds to see who’s talking about her. It’s all about “me” — my feelings, my struggles, my dreams. She’s exhausted, running out of things to talk about, recycling the same petty dramas. Every conversation, even when it seems like she’s listening, inevitably circles back to her own story. It’s like walking into a house where every wall is covered in portraits of herself — sure, she’s decorated it, but how depressing is it to be surrounded by nothing but your own reflection? That’s the ego’s home: suffocating, boring, and lonely.
    The Shift to Service
Now, take Sarah. She wakes up thinking about how she can ease someone else’s load today. She’s in the same world as Lisa, but instead of ruminating on her limited self, she’s looking for opportunities to give, to listen, to uplift. She doesn’t get caught up in the petty need for recognition because her mind’s not fixated on herself. The irony? By thinking less about herself, Sarah feels more alive, more expansive. Her energy isn’t trapped in the tight circle of “me,” it’s flowing freely into the world. It’s like stepping out of that house of mirrors and walking into a boundless field of possibility.
If your life feels small, it's because your mind is fixated on the most limited thing of all: you.

    I am sorry.
    Please forgive me.
    Thank you.
    I love you.
