Update
It's strange, I posted a list every day for over two years and now i find it hard to find time to write one once a month.
But that doesn't meen I've been lazy. I've been working away on a lot. Here's a little update on the last few months and my hopes for the future.
1. My NOVA Story
Last year I ventured out to start my new life in Japan. I honestly thought this would be the place I'd settle down and start a family. Despite my best efforts things didn't go to plan.
I was lied to, robbed and driven to insanity by this company. I'm not the only one. NOVA is evil. Luckily I kept copies of my documents and conversations. I combined them with logs in my diary to create this book. Exposing NOVA's corruption.
The book is pretty much done. I've finished up the layout today in order to make documents a little easier to read.
Below is my idea for a cover, what do you think?
2. JRRD Photography
We're doing well. I'm pleased with the portfolio we have put together. Our Facebook is looking great.
I feel like I'm always editing, but I enjoy it so I don't mind. In the past few months my photography and editing skills have improved a lot.
3. Psychological Biases and How to Wild Them
I've been working on this book for years now. It's about the unconscious biases that affect our thinking and how we act. What's real and true have far less impact than you'd imagine.
I've been adding new biases to it over the past few weeks. I should have this draft done by the end of the year. Hopefully sooner. Then i can get to work on the final draft and finally publish it next year.
4. Work
I've managed to get a job as a teaching assistant. Really happy about that. I enjoy teaching and helping people, this seems like the perfect mix. Looking forward to starting soon.
5. Volunteering
I've been helping in TEFL classes round here. They're a charity and can't pay me, but it's been fun to teach again. I enjoy the classroom atmosphere.
6. Running
Brothers have pushed me to be healthier, so I'm now running. I'm enjoying it a little bit more each run.
7. Future
I'd like to publish My Nova Story before Christmas. I've got a lot of photos still to edit. Hopefully I can finish my current batch off this week. The school should have sent me my paperwork by now. Maybe I should messaged them just to make sure. I'd like to continue volunteering and running.
My job will be in another town. I should probably start looking for apartments around there to move into.
I'm going to see Wheatus at the end of the month, so I'm looking forward to that. They always put on a great gig.
Christmas is coming up too. I should start my shopping soon.
I'd like to do more lists, but as you can see I've a lot going on. Sure there's more that I've forgot. Hope you're all doing well.
