Ways I Treat Myself
Food, generally... Here are some of my 'special treats' I try to keep on hand.
1. Cheese Brothers
Favorites are the green onion cheddar, and the cranberry/walnut spread.
Also good - https://www.northcountrycheese.com/ - the blueberry cheddar is magnificent!
2. Eastern Provisions Pretzels
Pre-baked and frozen, just need about 15 minutes in the oven. Have flavored salt, mustards, and other add-ons available.
3. Pacific Resources - Chocolate covered Manuka Honey
Come in a variety of flavors - orange, ginger, and mint are in my current inventory.
4. Olive My Pickle
Fermented olives, pickles, and other food. Tasty and good for you!
5. Mauna Loa Macadamia Nuts
The wife and I visited the factory on our honeymoon. We brought home a suitcase full afterwards. And since they can be ordered online, these are regular stock. Get the wife the dark chocolate covered version, justifying my bags of onion/garlic, BBQ, and others.
6. Pigs In a Blanket
I do these myself - Lil Smokies and Pillsbury crescent rolls. Sometimes add shredded cheese inside the roll. AIn't the holidays without these.
7. Stash Flavored Tea
Started with the licorice spice. During the lockdowns found their website and ordered a variety of flavors, all of which are great!
