Ways to get my cats into a cat carrier

I am going on vacation and I will need to put my cats into a cat carrier to get them to the vet in October. They both weigh almost 20 pounds. They don't like going into the cat carrier.

Preview

1. Leave the carriers out a week ahead of time

2. Put blankets and treats inside the carriers

3. Put toys in the carriers

4. Ask the vet for some sleepy time drugs to relax them
