What are things you can’t go without?
Unfortunately, I'm not yet a minimalist. As such, the list of objects I can't go without will probably appear far too long to some and perhaps even silly. What can I say though-- I like what I like!
For scope purposes, I'll limit this list to objects.
1. Conditioner
Shampoo is by no means enough to give me good hair.
2. A stole/shawl (in the fall/winter)
Stoles and shawls are the best things ever when it gets cooler out. In addition to jazzing up any outfit, they double time as a blanket, a yawn cover, and a face warmer.
3. Carbs at a meal
I never feel full unless I eat something starchy. I've tried so many times to have meals of just salad with protein, but I feel hungry less than an hour later. Even if it's just a roll, I need some form of carbs to feel satiated.
4. Allergy medicine
Unfortunately, I have allergies at just about all times of the year.
5. Chapstick
I've gotten into the habit of over-applying chapstick, so my lips just feel too dry when I go without.
6. A Hairtie/hairties
I think anyone with long hair will know what I mean when I say that a hairtie is an absolute necessity. Life with hair in your face is just way harder.
7. Gum AND Tictacs
Deliberately not "or". I like having a selection.
8. My purse
I always need to be carrying some kind of a purse.
9. Earrings
I don't consider an outfit complete without earrings. They add balance to the face.
10. My phone
Sadly. I'm a product of my generation!
