What I learned at Vogue Live Knitting
I went to a Knitting convention virtually last weekend. Here's what I learned

1. Patterns are designs. How you knit should inform what you do.
They are not Bible verses. You bring your gauge swatch and your way of knitting to them and make the pattern your own.
2. You should always do a gauge swatch
Otherwise, you'll never know how your garment will turn out. It could be too large or too small. Or the wrong fabric - think a tank top that is heavy enough to be a hairshirt
3. We like to knit - so why do we avoid making gauge swatches?
It's knitting too!
