What I Learned From Using Microsoft Azure
We use Microsoft Azure to host data and develop new software features. Also fix software bugs.
1. Track your hours
Every task you complete should be logged as a ticket in Microsoft Azure.
2. There is a backlog
This is where new User Story tickets live to be written up with more details.
3. Sprints
These are the tickets you are working on right now
4. PMOs and SUPs
PMOs are new development.
SUPs are support issues.
5. Use the link of the ticket to keep track of its progress
6. State
This is the tickets current status. Active, Ready for QA. etc.
7. Story Points
The amount of effort it will take for someone to complete.
8. Prioirity
Some things need to get done right away and then some things are nice to have and can wait.
9. Balance between work and Azure
Azure is a way to organize your work. You still have to actually do the work.
10. Analytics
Get reports on your progress.
