What to practice
I need to focus on a few things for regular practice, as it seems to be the best thing to do to see some progress and spare my nerves. Playing chess (more seriously) and learning Russian didn't make it into the list.
1. Writing
That's how I make a living
2. Drawing and sketching
A great addition to writing. Also, making sketches is very relaxing
3. Programming Python
Great for organizing information and word games
4. Tai Chi or Aikido
An interesting activity related to martial arts - without too much strain on the cardiovascular system or the possibility of being beaten up
5. Playing the ukulele regularly
My first steps into the vast land of music. I like the sound of it. If it turns out that this is not my thing, I will consider learning Russian again
6. Mental training
Memory training, idea lists, autogenic training
