What websites/apps do you use daily?
1. A podcast app (Apple, Spotify, NextBigIdeaClub, SoundCloud)
2. Substack
3. Audible
4. Blinkist
Wide selection of nonfiction book summaries. I prefer NBIC (#5 below) if both services have the title, though.
5. NBIC (Next Big Idea Club) —app and site
Two unique features of NBIC are its expert curation of nonfiction titles (Susan Cain, Daniel Pink, Adam Grant, and Malcom Gladwell) and its book summaries written and narrated by the authors themselves.
6. Purposeful
7. Kindle
8. TheOnion.com (news satire)
“The Onion is now available exclusively online without charge in order to take advantage of various charity tax benefits.”
“Rising from its humble beginnings as a print newspaper in 1756, The Onion now enjoys a daily readership of 4.3 trillion and has grown into the single most powerful and influential organization in human history.”
9. Music (listening and making)
Making: Synth One, Digitalism, 909 Drums
Listening: Spotify and SoundCloud
(Btw, Shazam is great app for coming up with the name of a song or artist when you have a mental block.)
