Why I'm Not Interested in Podcasts

How do you commit to one? It's going to take up a lot more time than listening to a few songs.

If the speakers use a lot of "Umms" and "ahhs", it slows things down even more. I'm looking to learn and consume information efficiently.

You can search for a text string in a written article, and in a video, you can skim using a slider to where the content you want is, but in audio, you have to listen to the whole thing

If my eyes wander onto something more interesting, I might tune out what is being said

I know podcasters have to pay the bills, but some segues into sponsor content don't give you good options to skip or ignore.
