I'm doing a master's degree on Communication & Media and planning to record podcasts in the university's podcast studio. It's my first podcast. Any tips to create a GREAT one?

I'm not a podcast-er, so my suggestions are more experiments one can try. They come to my little experience in public talks. Give it a try.
An Italian 19th century novelist and poet, Alessandro Manzoni, pointed out that entertaining and teaching should be the to ingredients of any novel. A podcast should do the same.
I've never created a podcast before, but I do love listening to a lot of them.
With that disclaimer in mind, here are a few of my suggestions on how to create a good listening experience.
I hate when the host is talking and is suddenly interrupted by an ad. It makes it impossible to skip the ad and worsens the listening experience.
When I first launched my podcast Strategic Possibilities I was paying $300/year to host my podcast and manage it and keep it on some platform and it was terrible. Now I just use Anchor and it distributes to all the major channels for free!
It doesn't have to be the most expensive or the latest generation but it does have to sound good
I love this challenge.
What makes a good podcast for me?
For me a sign of a good podcast is me pausing it to take down notes.
