Just listing a few things that have helped me lately lose weight, feel better, and reduce stress.

    1. Go with the flow

    I've been in great shape and been in poor shape (for me). Stressful times have mostly made me want to eat more, but there have been a few times I couldn't eat much when stressed. Stress will influence your body and mind and while you can take some steps to alleviate the stress, it won't go away until you solve the things that are causing the stress. At the end of 2022, I was in the worst shape of my life, mainly due to stress. Mediating didn't work. I was always hungry and not really feeling like working out. I knew I'd get out of that mode and into a better mode. Life ebbs and flows, I can do a better job during the ebbs and hope to learn from this time!

    Put your hand on the wall. Now slide it down. Your shoulders will automatically start to relax.

    I don't know why but it works every time for me and many others I've seen try it.

    I think there's some sort of subconscious thing that happens where you're tracing a path downward so your body figures, "Oh, we're going down now so I guess we have to start relaxing."

    Whatever the reason, if you are tense in your shoulders, try this and see if it works for you!
