What's the first thing you can do in the morning when you wake up besides checking your phone?

<div class='public-DraftStyleDefault-block'>Sometimes I do check my phone before completing all 10, but sometimes I don&#x27;t. These are from my actual morning routine.</div>

<div class='public-DraftStyleDefault-block'>I don&#x27;t have any special insight here.  Wake up time is a perpetual fight between modern thoughts of making the time useful and beneficial before starting to work and old school &quot;get the F out the door.&quot;  No clear winner yet, and no particular order.</div>

<p>I don't manage everything, everyday, but if I manage a few I know the days off to a good start.&nbsp;</p>

<div class='public-DraftStyleDefault-block'>I love this challenge. Checking my phone has become my instinctual first action of the day, and for me it often leads to doomscrolling. It&#x27;s a real waste of time, and there are so many better things I could be doing. Here&#x27;s a list of 10 alternatives that will hopefully help me start the day off right.</div>
