I've used many of these with friends and coworkers to avoid any awkwardness

1. I'm allergic to alcohol

2. I have a rule that I don't drink alcohol unless I'm at home

Assuming you're not home

3. Sorry, I don't drink alcohol

4. I don't like the taste of alcohol

5. I need to wake up early tomorrow

6. I'll stick with my water/juice/non alcoholic beverage thanks

7. Sorry, my partner doesn't let me drink when I'm not with them

8. I have to take care of my kids tomorrow and need to be fully functional

9. I have to drive later so no thanks

10. I'm on medication and I'm not supposed to mix the medication with alcohol
