10 Favourite Desserts and Why?
I guess most of my choices here are Filipino desserts!
1. Ube Ice Cream
Ube (pronounced ooh-beh) is a purple yam from the Philippines with a mild, sweet flavor. The taste has been described as slightly nutty, or as a cross between vanilla and pistachio. It is frequently incorporated into desserts in Filipino cuisine with ube ice cream being one of the most popular preparations.
I have always been a huge fan of the Ube flavour. I just love it!

2. New York Style Cheesecake
New York cheesecake is heavy on the cream cheese which is why it's so dense and rich. Extra cream cheese isn't the only thing that makes New York cheesecake so special.

3. Biko
Biko is a rich, chewy Filipino rice cake made with sticky rice, coconut milk, and dark sugar.
I love this when paired with coffee!

4. Tiramisu
Tiramisu is a coffee-flavoured Italian dessert. It is made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar, and mascarpone cheese, flavoured with cocoa.
I love Tiramisu especially the coffee part of it.

5. Mango Float
Mango float or crema de mangga is a Filipino icebox cake dessert made with layers of ladyfingers or graham crackers, whipped cream, condensed milk, and ripe carabao mangoes.
I love the taste of sweet mangoes and the sweet cream inside.

6. Puto
Puto is a Filipino steamed rice cake, traditionally made from slightly fermented rice dough. It is eaten as is or as an accompaniment to a number of savoury dishes.
I love the different styles of making puto especially the puto cheese and puto ube!

7. Brazo de Mercedes
Brazo de Mercedes is a traditional Filipino meringue roll with a custard filling typically dusted with powdered sugar.
I love the custard filling!

8. Silvanas
Silvanas, alternatively spelled as sylvanas or sylvannas, is a Filipino frozen cookie consisting of a layer of buttercream sandwiched between two cashew-meringue wafers coated with cookie crumbs. Silvanas are the cookie versions of the Sans rival, a Filipino cake made from similar ingredients.
Delicious buttery flavour!

9. Sans Rival
Sans rival is a Filipino dessert cake made of layers of buttercream, meringue and chopped cashews. Its name means "unrivaled” in French.
Same as silvanas, I love the buttery flavour.

10. Leche Flan
Leche Flan is a dessert made-up of eggs and milk with a soft caramel on top. It resembles crème caramel and caramel custard.
I love the custard part of it!
