10 Fortunes I'd Like to Read in a Fortune Cookie
This was inspired by a post from David Marlow's Daily Ikigai publication. (Note: I have no financial or otherwise benefit from mentioning this publication. I just think it's cool, and I like to give credit where credit is due.) If you want to see the original, here's the link. The basic idea: if you could write your own fortune that might show up in your fortune cookie, what would it be?

1. You have won a million dollars tax-free.
2. Slow down. Life is not a race to the finish line.
3. Don't worry yourself about random fortunes from random strangers.
Same thing for newspaper horoscopes and predictions of most pundits.
4. Even a random fortune cookie can spark an idea. What does this spark?
5. Did you find the one about the million dollars? It didn't say where to find it, did it?
6. You are enough.
Accept who and where you are. That doesn't mean settle. From here is the best place to decide what you might want to change or where to grow next.
