No money up front - only have to buy the prize after enough people enter. Might not raise much money, but it would help get the word out, at least 7. Create an affiliate program for existing ticket holders

10. Invite ALL of my LinkedIn and Facebook connections to follow the event (gulp!)
I like to tinker in a vacuum. In the past I would tell people all about my business ideas that I was excited about and they would go “But what about this? Can you handle that? How will you do such-and-such?” It would ultimately discourage me and crush my business before it had a chance to fail for any legitimate reason. So I stopped telling people about my business ideas and, granted, this trade show is becoming more real than any of my previous businesses. But I’m still terrified to tell anyone I know personally about it (beyond a select few, ie, husband, brother, coach, business partner).
