10 lessons on kindness

    1. An act of kindness can be very small and make a great impact on someone's day or life.

    Such as smiling to people in the office that you don't know or say Hello, Give a compliment :)

    2. An act of kindness can impact individuals to make their own act of kindness.

    3. Being kind is free.

    4. Decades of research shows that when we are kind to others, we are healthier and happier.

    It's ok to be selfish and do things that makes you feel great!

    5. It makes the world a better place.

    Deeply invested in the idea of "Tikun OLam" an inspiring activists asked the Rebbe" Should I focus on make myself better, or should I concentrate solely on changing the world?"

    The Rebbe responded "You cannot fix the world, unless you begin with yourself. Start with yourself, then your family, then your community, then your country and from there, the world: one step at a time"

    6. Research shows that even witnessing acts of kindness can produce oxytocin, which is often called the “love hormone.” Oxytocin helps to increase our optimism, confidence and even lower blood pressure

    7. Being kind shows how powerful you are and confident.

    8. With act of kindness you touch people lives.

    9. Act of kindness is much more powerful then money donation, it can move people.

    10. Helps to create new relationship with people you didn't know.
