10 pieces of advice to your teenage self
If I had a time machine, this is what I would go back and tell myself.
1. Hang in There
They like to say that youth is the best time of life, but I have to tell you, it gets much better after you leave High School. Give yourself at least 25 years on the planet before you assess how well it's going. For me, it took until I was 40 to fully appreciate Life. Your Mileage May Vary.
2. Follow your curiosity
3. Don't let others overly influence your decisions.
You have a will, your own destiny and you own ideas about what seems good to you. Be You.
4. Don't judge yourself by what others are achieving / accomplishing
You bloom at your own rate and your blossoming will be unique.
5. Keep reading self help. Best decision you ever made.
Read the 9 things You Simply must do by Dr Henry Cloud, It will keep you moving forward.
6. Keep learning
This is your second best trait after your sense of humor. Don't ever lose it.
