10 places I visited while living in Italy
I lived in Padova from September until late April. The city is quite boring but I'm glad I got to see some other places.

1. Venice
2. Bassano del Grappa
Lovely little town where grappa is from.
3. Citadella
Near Bassano del Grappa. An old town with a city wall.
4. Treviso
5. Verona
6. Milan
Not a fan.
7. Vicenza
Where there is a park full of rabbits. Cute.
8. Trieste
And its mediocre pastries.
9. Florence
10. Countryside an hour from Naples
Castel Campagnano and nearby.
11. Bologna
Only walked around briefly.
12. Peschiera del Garda
Beautiful lake between Venice in Milan (near Verona). I haven't been to Como, so I don't know how it compares, but I highly recommend it.
13. Ljubljana and the Slovenian countryside near Croatia
We saw Ljubljana a couple times. Lovely place. Also stayed at my friend's farmhouse near Croatia, which was quite pleasant.
14. Zagreb, Croatia
It was near so our friend drove us. I had heard Zagreb wasn't great, and while I'm sure it's not that interesting compared to the usual Croatian beach destinations, I thought it was quite nice. Not particularly exceptional as far as European cities go, but we only stayed for one night. I recommend the museum of broken relationships!
