10 Potential Things To Do First Thing In The Morning

1. Watch the sunrise
Supposed to be a health benefit to doing so.
2. Stretch
These old bones need all the help they can get.
3. Shower
Hot. Tried cold, not too keen on it, but again, supposed to be health benefits.
4. Let the puppy out
Means go out with him, feed him, let him out again. Remind the kid to let him out after I go to work. Otherwise, we have puddles and piles in the house.
5. Read
Would like to do this, but am compulsive about getting out to get to work. Best would be to read as the sun comes up. Maybe when I retire.
6. Coffee
Don't let me fool you, this is a HIGH priority. I do have a drink of water before my first coffee, but I crave that first coffee!
7. Exercise
Not my thing early on, but probably a good way to get it done.
8. Eat breakfast
Literally feast or famine. Either I don't eat until lunch, or I go all out - large omelette filled with meats and cheeses.
9. Star gaze
The stars are out when I wake up. I look for Orion. Venus is right out the front door. Have been seeing Saturn also, per the SkyMap app.
10. Go back to sleep
Rare these days. But sometimes on the weekends if I don't have much to do.
11. P.S. - The Wife HATES Being Woken Up Early
