10 Things I bought this weekend.
I don't really have the money to buy these things but I needed some happy chemicals hits. I am too exhausted from my day job right now to create those experiences that produce those happy chemicals. Buying things is easy.
1. Dino Sipper
I somehow forgot in the past 5 months that I need to be more relatable to my students. I teach 4 year olds. I am basically a grown 4 yr old. I am going to drink my daily beverages out of this sippy cup from now on. RELATABLE! :)

2. Microwavable Soup Mug
I am dog sitting. I stopped using factor because it was $15 a meal. I just couldn't comprehend why I would pay $15 for a microwave meal. This is my first week without it and Im like ok well what do I eat. I bought this mug to eat soup out of at school.

3. Play That Funky Music 90's Edition
I can't wait to play this. It's a card game with Kazoos and you play a tune and try to get the other person to guess it.

4. Lavender Lotion
I forgot to bring moisturizer from home. I googled CVS but I turned the wrong way on the road to get there. I decided to go to one of my favorite stores in Royal Oak. Rail and Anchor. I found some Lavender Lotion. It was perfect because even before getting into work I was having A LOT of anxiety. I knew we were going to be busy and there would be a lot of reservations. I don't understand our reservation system. Luckily I was working with a pro. But I also used a lot of Lavender lotion to calm myself down. I just kept applying and smelling my hands. I wonder if I looked weird?

5. Sex in History
I haven't been to my favorite used book store in a while. I found this book on the bottom shelf of the General World History section. It's only $7! I thumbed through it a bit and I think it's a sociological interpretation of sex throughout history. I hope I read it. I then happened to run into several of my students from previous years and had to flip the book over so they didn't think I was some kind of deviant!

6. Original Oatmeal
I never buy plain oatmeal but.. I needed something for breakfast and the Kroger I went to didn't have low sugar apples and cinnamon. So I bought plain and bought my own apples. It was good. Even less sugar than the low sugar apples and cinnamon. I felt healthy and satisfied! yay!

7. Swedish Crepe Combo at IHop
One of my great pleasures on the weekend is taking myself out for breakfast. I went to IHop for the first time since Korea I think. The IHop in Korea is super expensive. I got the Swedish Crepe Combo and it was perfect!

8. Cheap Gas
The Citgo right near the IHop is super cheap. Under $3. It's always busy but it wasn't at 9am. I filled up my tank.
9. Shamrock Dress from Amazon
My Goal is to have my entire wardrobe be Ms.Frizzle type dresses or skirts. I have I think 10-15. They revolve around teaching themes and holidays. I try to get 2 a year.
10. Online Psychiatry Appointment
I haven't been sleeping great and I've lost some weight. I am totally burnt out from my job. I have my own trauma of losing my father but what is harder is witnessing 4 yr old child trauma. Trauma that I didn't know existed. Stuff that no one should experience let alone 4 yr olds. This cost me $200. I hope that it can help me feel a little more at ease.
