Ever since joining NotePD, I've been writing more: whether it's blogging, taking notes, idea list, etc.
I've made a few practical observations along the way.
1. What you find interesting is not what other people find interesting
2. What maybe obvious to you maybe insightful to others. So experiment.
3. Writing is iterative rather then revolutionary
4. Data visualization increases comprehension of written text
5. Use storytelling to engage people's mind
6. People seem to enjoy reading things that are critical, negative, experiential and inspiring
7. People seem to gravitate to common topics: procrastination, social skills, leadership, resilience, etc
8. People enjoy reading how to do something over what is informative
9. Be concise - people have little patience. Quick insight with minimal fluff
10. People comprehend the content better with context, analogies and things that are tied to what is known
11. Good ideas for writing come from generating more ideas without judgement
12. AI writers can help when you don't know how to word something or run into writer's block
