10 things I learned from reading my favourite fiction book: Replay by Ken Grimwood

I'm going to try to not spoil the book in the process

    1. Money is a concern for the average person, but when you have a lot of it, other things become concerns

    2. Some things are inevitable and can't be changed

So don't try to change things that can't be changed

    3. What you think are big changes in the world really aren't

    4. We have one life to live and we should make the most of what time we have

    5. Strange things happen in the world and while we may want to seek an explanation, sometimes it can't be explained and we have to be okay with it

    6. In your last moments before death, all you care about is how you lived and whether you are around people you loved and who love you

    7. Life is a series of beginnings and endings - what you think might be an ending is actually a beginning

    8. Don't live life as if you know you can go back and change things - change things now

    9. There aren't any big changes in the world - a lot of big changes in the world are snowball effects from small ones

    10. Life is a balance between purposeful activities and enjoyable ones.
