10 things to do the night before to be productive the next day

    1. Get a good night's sleep

    Screens off at least 2 hours (or more) before bed time

    2. No stress

    Don't look at emails. Don't play bullet chess. Don't fight with your partner. Especially not before bed.

    3. Schedule and write it down

    Don't wake up not knowing what to do. Schedule everything down to the hour.

    4. Write it down

    If there's anything on your mind: problems, worries, anxieties, write it down on a note pad. Or better yet, write down those ideas in notepd.

    5. Get it organized

    If you're going to work for example, get your lunch ready to go. Have your work bag fully packed.

    6. Lay out your work clothes

    Know what work clothes you're going to wear tomorrow and have them laid out. If you're going to exercise in the morning, lay out your exercise clothing.

    7. Don't drink too much water

    Drinking too much water means you'll have to go to the bathroom and pee, interrupting your sleep.

    8. Keep it cool

    I like to keep it slightly cooler than room temperature at night, at least just until I get to sleep.

    9. Keep it dark

    Remove all sources of light in the bedroom.

    10. Tell yourself you're going to have a restful night and a great day tomorrow
