10 things to only allow myself to indulge in when (or after) doing something I may not feel like doing

A form of habit-stacking.

    1. Listen to my favorite podcast only when I'm exercising

    For example, The James Altucher Show :) I have too many favorites, so maybe I should pick three. Let's add the Lex Fridman podcast and Making Sense with Sam Harris!

    2. YouTube videos only after a work bout

    3. Eat unhealthy food only after meditating

    4. Drink alcohol only after consuming something really healthy

    Although that might decrease the benefits of the healthy nutrients, so maybe that's not good?

    5. Masturbate only after having written at least five jokes

    6. Watch a series only after learning Italian for at least 10 minutes.

    7. Only make a non-essential purchase after reading at least 30 pages of a book

    8. Only book an unnecessarily expensive hotel room or airbnb after working three hours on my business or side gig

    9. Only consume comedy (even very short videos) if I've published at least one Substack piece during the week.

    10. Only call my friends if I've done at least some progress on a short story
