10 Things You Can Do That You Are Grateful For
This isn't me, but... close.
1. Play some ukulele
I don't know a lot. I used to practice it regularly ten years ago but never in a very serious way. It's fun.
2. Stand up comedy
Exceptionally, I haven't performed in a few months, so I expect to be a bit rusty when I get back to it.
3. Reach for something on the top shelf for women in the supermarket
It's always women, and they tend to be old but not always. It's always a nice moment of connection. One old lady even offered me one of the ice creams she was buying. One example in which being tall can increase happiness (but I'm sure being short has its own perks - I'd love to see a list about it!)
4. Make friends
I've been described as a golden retriever.
5. Intermittent fasting
Anybody can do this. But after doing it regularly for a few years (with some off periods), I noticed that I'm much better at accepting hunger. I rarely think "OMG I gotta eat RIGHT NOW."
6. Make tasty oatmeal
7. Write jokes
8. Write erotica
I'm probably not very good at it, but in the world of self-published erotica, it doesn't matter very much.
