1. An agenda

Or at least know what the agenda is

2. Introductions for everyone on the agenda

Speeches, caterers, photographers, etc.

3. Handy stories about the couple you can pull out of your pocket

4. Looking good, but not so good you steal the focus away from the couple

5. Meeting with the crowd - if you aren't talking to complete strangers, it may make you feel more comfortable

6. Video / audio equipment

You'll want to make sure everything is working

7. Knowing how to operate the lights

8. Knowing where the washrooms and emergency exits are

9. Knowing how to speak into the microphone to get the best sound
