10 thoughts after my first Krav Maga class in a long time

I used to do Krav Maga on and off around 2013-2015. I wanna get in shape in a fun way by learning new skills and focusing more on dynamic activities.

    1. I'm not great with... movement

    2. But I could sense my progress over the course of the class

    3. I need to improve my cardio

    4. There were only two other people plus the instructor

    I liked the intimate vibe.

    5. It was (exceptionally) a bit under an hour

    Which I had no problem with.

    6. It was tiring!

    But acceptable.

    7. The instructor recommends starting at 2pm instead of 3pm

    So that would be a two-hour class. Damn.

    8. NOBODY EXCEPT ME EVER DRANK A SIP OF WATER THE WHOLE TIME

    HOW???

    9. The instructor speaks Spanish, so it's a fun way to also do some language learning

    I'M FEEDING MY BRAIN SO MUCH.

    10. It was friendly

    The instructor is cool and even funny. The two other people were helpful and supportive. I like that.

    My friend used to do Krav Maga with an instructor who was full-on verbally abusive and that is just not my vibe.
