10 Ways To Appreciate This Moment, Right Now

    1. Pick one thing, any thing, and observe it in minute detail.

    2. Speak aloud about everything you see in detail.

    "I see a black-and-white painting. It is a rectangular shape. It contains an image of a desert flower in bloom. The petals are sort of shaped like a pentagon." And so on. Works like magic.

    3. Focus on one thing and one thing only.

    4. Stop everything you're doing and notice, really feel, the ground beneath your feet.

    6. Tell yourself that you're grateful for wherever you are right now, whatever you're doing right now, and whoever you're with right now.
