10 ways to improve my work and career life
1. Pick a new career path and stick with it
No more flip-flopping! Pick an area and stick with it, giving it my full attention.
2. Exercise every morning
Get your body moving which will invigorate your mind. When you have exercised anything feels possible.
3. Reframe my thinking
Instead of ‘I have to’, think ‘I get to’.
4. Reach out to someone in the field
Try to get insights from people who already work in the area to see what it’s really like and the pros and cons.
5. If it doesn’t work out, it’s ok!
Need to try and not fear failure. It may not work out but that’s fine! The world will still spin.
6. Build that business
Time is running out. Find that idea and get stuck in. Find a pain point and solve people’s problems.
7. Get tough again
Life has been far too comfortable. It’s time to find some grit again and become unbreakable.
8. Don’t be afraid of looking stupid
Ask the question and put yourself out there. If I’m afraid of looking stupid I’ll never make it.
9. Tiny experiments
Business/career and life should be full of tiny experiments. Give things a go and treat new opportunities as though you’re a scientist. If things don’t work out, just try another thing.
10. Reflect
Remember how far you’ve come and how much you’ve gone through. Use this to push forwards into the future.
