1. Invite them and pay for coffee or lunch

3. Compliment them and their work in front of your boss or higher ups
4. Get them a work-related book that they would find interesting
5. Go the extra mile in a small task for them
6. Give them feedback on things they are working on (if they ask for it)
7. Stand up for them if they are facing a lot of questions or conflict
8. Be a bright spot in their day (even if you're not having the best day yourself)
9. Listen to them. Don't give advice. Don't try to steer the conversation in a certain way.
