11 Movie Clips I Love Watching
Sometimes I'm in the mood for an entire movie. But sometimes I just like watching non-stop clips of really great acting or other aspects of movies.
1. "The Godfather"
Other than Francis Ford Coppola, nobody wanted to hire Al Pacino for the role. But he kept insisting and history was made with this pick.
2. Quicksilver saves Magneto
A good superhero movie takes things to another level. This is not about a man who runs fast, but a man where nothing matters. All time moves so slowly for him that life becomes boring unless he can find meaning in it.
This scene brings that out a bit:
3. "King Richard"
But he's a great great actor and I hope he's not "cancelled" for long.
He quite rightfully won "best actor" for King Richard:
4. "The Natural" with Robert Redford
5. "Whiplash"
But "Whiplash" is an intense movie with Miles Teller and JK Simmons about a boy with talent and the ability to work hard at developing it. But he finds a sadistic teacher who takes more than he can give.
This is the final scene of that movie so it's worth seeing the movie first.
6. "Nobody"
But he does drama really well. This is a fight scene and it's very "modern" in how he gets seriously hurt in it (as opposed to the hero always being like Jason Bourne).
The choreography of the fight is also amazing. Plus the music is perfect. This is about a man who need to find what brings him alive.
When I showed Robyn this clip she immediately wanted to see the movie even though it was a very violent scene.
7. "8 Mile"
But even without the music, this is a great movie.
8. "Yesterday"
This is the scene when he realizes that nobody knows who the Beatles are.
You'll want to see this movie after you watch this.
9. Magneto in Argentina
But imagine having an unbearable need for an extremely dark revenge and suddenly have the power to inflict it
Michael Fassbinder is perfect for this role:
10. "Schindler's List"
11. Lawrence of Arabia
Lawrence is a British soldier who has imagination and slowly is transformed into the leader that unites the disparate tribes of what becomes Saudi Arabia.
