3 pieces of advice to your teenage self
1. Feeling like an outsider is not a bad thing
I've always been on the periphery. I wasn't a cool kid. As a teen being on the periphery equated to being left out. But it taught me independence. I didn't have to be part of a group to do cool stuff, and being a bit weird/wyrd becomes better as you get older.
2. There's no rush
I've always been a late starter. Some people's lives seem to start when they're younger, for others life happens later. Whichever way, it all unfolds as it should.
3. School is not as important as you think
For a long time I thought school set the standard for the rest of my life. It didn’t.
