5 things I think about that my husband does not

I was going to give an explanation of this one but decided not to. It is what it is. Whether right or wrong, women get judged on their clothes as a part of who they are as a person.

My husband and I both hike. He has his hiking buddies, and I have mine. There are those times, though, that we find ourselves hiking alone. When he comes across a questionable person on the trail, he doesn't think anything about it. On the other hand, I have to think about it and have a completely different experience. There have been very few missing hikers where we live over the years, but the ones that have come up missing are all women.

My husband is very outgoing. He can walk into a pub and walk out with some new lifelong buddies. I have said "Hi" several times to strangers and got into a bit of a jam. A few times, I haven't even said anything, just made eye contact, smiled in passing, and had issues. My husband never worries about this.

Never enters his mind. Never worries about it. Will go to sleep with it in the room and catch it in the morning. Nope, not me.

I need a plan. They will be here for 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 dinners. We will eat this for the first morning, this for the second, and so on. My husband will go to Costco to buy food and then ask the company while opening the fridge, "This is what we have; what looks good to you?"
